Q:
Are the walking 'trails' level enough for a senior gent who uses a cane? It sounds very interesting and I know he'd enjoy it!
A:
If you go on the river trail, beware the bamboo sheaths (for lack of a technical term) that are like large leaves on the ground. They pile up all around and are very slippery.
Q:
Is this in Estero? Anything else to do?
A:
Yes near Estero I also liked the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary a few miles away. Great volunteer guides and very diverse from swamp to grass lands
