For the second consecutive day the Deputy U.S. Attorney General met privately with Jeffrey Epstein's accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell. The meetings come after the Trump administration faced backlash over their handlings of records in the Epstein investigation.

The justices, now on their summer recess, are expected in late September to consider whether to take up her appeal.
