Five days after Pocatello Police officers shot a disabled 17-year-old, the mayor has given a public response to the incident.

Police Chief Roger Schei and Mayor Brian Blad have declined to answer questions about the shooting, citing an investigation being conducted by the East Idaho Critical Incident Task Force.

Victor Perez was shot nine times by police. The family said they have chosen to take him off life support on Saturday.
