The popular Keanu Reeves character will return in the upcoming film "John Wick: Chapter 5," Lionsgate announced during CinemaCon 2025 on Tuesday. Franchise director Chad Stahelski is slated to return to the film, as well as producers Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee from Thuder Road to develop the film. Reeves will star and produce.

Keanu Reeves and director Chad Stahelski are both back for the feature, following the previous installment, which ended with the death of the titular assasin. Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson announced at CinemaCon on Tuesday that the studio is in development for a fifth installment in the action film franchise.
