The Abbotsford Canucks had a Game 3 to remember as they defeated the Charlotte Checkers 6-1. Abbotsford was easily the better team, as they dominated on special teams in front of a sold out Abbotsford Centre.

The Abbotsford Canucks are just two wins away from their first Calder Cup in franchise history. They beat the Charlotte Checkers 6-1 on Tuesday night, reclaiming the series lead after losing in overtime in Game 2. The Checkers opened the scoring, but that one goal was all the Canucks would allow as they took over the game in the second period.
