Friday brought the news that the women of “And Just Like That… ” will be stepping off their stilettos for the series’ third and final season.

C ynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis — known to “Sex and the City” fans as Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York, respectively — have reacted to the abrupt cancellation of the franchise’s revival series “And Just Like That” with heartfelt statements.

Cynthia Nixon also shared a series of photos on her Instagram as she reflected on her time portraying the fan-favorite Miranda. The pictures she included are both actual stills from SATC and AJLT as well as behind-the-scenes photos from both productions.
