The Detroit Lions will have their top two safeties available against the Kansas City Chiefs. Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph were both questionable ahead of the key road contest on Sunday Night Football. The team released their official inactives list and the back end will have both starting safeties availabe to work against the Chiefs' offense.

As time expired on the Chiefs' 30-17 victory, Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes attempted to shake hands with Detroit's Brian Branch, who rebuffed the quarterback. Branch proceeded to walk toward JuJu Smith-Schuster and appeared to slap him in the helmet.

And after going through pre-game workouts at Arrowhead Stadium, Branch and Joseph are good to go for Detroit’s banged-up secondary.
