A new Gallup survey has found that only 54% of Americans say they drink alcohol — that's lower than at any other point in the past three decades. The poll comes among a growing belief that even moderate drinking is a health risk.

Gallup, which started tracking Americans' alcohol habits more than 80 years ago, says the drop in drinking rates coincides with Americans' growing concerns that even moderate drinking is unhealthy.
