Ja'Lynn Polk took the field with his Patriots teammates for the first time this summer in the team's first padded practice of training camp Monday in Foxboro.

On this first day of actual training camp – pads and all – the passing game took a backseat to establishing the line of scrimmage and working on run fits. The news of the day with the wideouts was 2024 second-round pick Ja’Lynn Polk getting on the field for the first time.
