WASHINGTON – During the fourth quarter of the Timberwolves’ 120-106 victory over the Wizards on Monday night, Anthony Edwards came to a realization — the Wizards weren’t putting double teams on him as much as other teams have recently.

The Washington Wizards gave the Wolves their best shot through the third quarter and into the start of the fourth, but Minnesota closed the game on a 28-17 run to put them away in a 120-106 victory at Capital One Arena in Washington.

Anthony Edwards scored 20 of his 41 points in the fourth quarter and the Minnesota Timberwolves overcome a sloppy first half and beat the NBA-worst Washington Wizards 120-106.
