The star will show off his latest stunts and thrills with an out of competition screening on May 14, with the cast treading the red carpet in France ahead of a global theatrical release on May 23.

“Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning” will debut Out of Competition at the Grand Théâtre Lumière on Wednesday, May 14. Actor/producer Cruise, his long-time collaborator director/screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie, and the rest of the cast will walk the steps of the Palais des Festivals on the red carpet.

Impossible - The Final Reckoning” is officially headed to the Croisette. The highly anticipated eighth film in the spy franchise will premiere out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival on May 14 with Cruise and director-writer Christopher McQuarrie in attendance.
