Michigan State's men's basketball game is headed to Cleveland, Ohio, within easy driving distance for Spartan fans who want to see the game in-person.

The Michigan State Spartans have learned their region and their first-round opponent in the NCAA Tournament. Tom Izzo’s team earned a No. 2 seed and will face off against the No. 15-seeded Bryant Bulldogs in the South region on Friday afternoon.

Michigan State basketball won’t have far to go for Tom Izzo’s record 27th consecutive NCAA tournament appearance. The Big Ten champion Spartans will be the No. 2 seed in the South region and face No. 15 seed Bryant in the first round Friday at Rocket Arena.
