After rumors and speculation of a Nintendo Direct in July flooded the internet for days, Nintendo has announced a July 2025 Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase. It'll take place today, July 31, at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET. [Update: The show is underway, and you can follow along with our Nintendo Direct July 2025 announcements recap .]

Today's Nintendo Direct was the first since launch, and as a Partner Showcase it gave us a look at third-party games coming to Switch and Switch 2 later this year. So while we didn't see the likes of Mario, Metroid, or Zelda, there were still plenty of exciting game announcements to check out.
