The San Diego Padres have joined the group of teams that are looking to add Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. ahead of Thursday's trade deadline.

The Philadelphia Phillies need to add to their outfield, and there's a chance they finally land a deal for Chicago White Sox star Luis Robert Jr.

“Luis Robert Jr. is one of the main trade candidates to watch today,” Mark Feinsand said in a post. “The Mets and Phillies remain in the mix to some extent, but according to a source, the Padres have emerged as the team to watch. San Diego seems motivated to add an outfielder today.”
