Mikel Arteta has revealed Ben White and Mikel Merino are doubts for the first leg of Arsenal ’s Champions League semi-final with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday. The pair both missed Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace on Wednesday a nd were left out of the squad entirely.

Paris Saint-Germain warmed up for their mouth-watering Champions League semi-final against Arsenal by breaking a European record that had stood for over 30 years. PSG were held to a 1-1 draw by Nantes on Tuesday night but the stalemate extended the club’s remarkable unbeaten record in Ligue 1.

The dates for Arsenal's Champions League semi-final against Paris St-Germain have been confirmed by Uefa. The Gunners will host PSG on Tuesday, 29 April before travelling to the French capital to face the Ligue 1 champions the following Wednesday (7 May). Both games will kick-off at 20:00 BST.
