While the Seahawks are still in second place behind the Los Angeles Rams because they lost to them earlier in the season, Seattle has been pretty close to perfect in 2025. The Seattle Seahawks might have something truly special brewing with rookie safety Nick Emmanwori, who is playing multiple positions and taking on major responsibilities in the team's defense.

Combine that with 40 sacks and 18 takeaways, the latter equaling last season’s total, and Aden Durde’s defensive unit has been a real problem for nearly every opponent in 2025. The Seahawks are sixth in the NFL in fewest total are allowed per game, and only the Jacksonville Jaguars are giving up fewer yards per game on the ground.

In 20 all-time meetings, including 1 postseason matchup, the Seahawks hold a 13-7 advantage over the Vikings. Last December, the Vikings beat the Seahawks 27-24 in Seattle as 2.5-point favorites, with the Over (43) cashing.

The NFL announced Week 13 fines and did not punish Seahawks rookie Nick Emmanwori for his hit on Vikings star Justin Jefferson.
