Police in Newburgh, N.Y., arrested a 13-year-old suspect within 12 hours of responding to a fatal shooting that killed an 11-year-old child.

HOUSTON — A woman is dead and a man hurt after a shooting outside a club in southwest Houston early Sunday morning, police say. The shooting happened around 3 a.m. in the parking lot of Club Aragon along the Southwest Freeway near Beechnut, according to the Houston Police Department.
