Detectives in Sacramento County have made an arrest in a child sex abuse case dating back decades—and investigators say they're concerned there could be more alleged victims.

A 46-year-old man was arrested this year after authorities discovered he sexually assaulted a 3-year-old girl in 1997, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. SCSO said that a mother made a report on June 1,

We suspect there might be more victims out there. That’s why we’re reaching out to the public,” detectives said.
