Congrats are in order for 16-year-old singer and guitar prodigy Nene Royal, who received the Golden Buzzer for her Soundgarden cover during Tuesday’s (Aug. 25) America’s Got Talent quarterfinals that immediately advanced her to the live shows.

Nene Royal earns Mel B’s Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent season 21, heading straight to the finals as 11 acts compete in the live Quarterfinals.

Additional Week 2 acts include Geno Ploeger, LaRussell, Nene Royal, and Nyjah Music & Zyah Rhythm.

Again, NBC’s press release confirmed that they are officially scheduled to air the next, new episodes 14 and 15 of America’s Got Talent’s current season 21 tonight, August 25, 2026 and tomorrow night, August 26. They will both start up in the 7 pm central standard time slot.
