The U.S. Forest Service says a lighting strike was the cause of a wildfire in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness that burned three acres over the weekend. The fire was reported last Thursday afternoon during a routine fire patrol on Long Lake in the BWCA north of Grand Marais.
