Someone who knows a thing or two about local hoops is Hornets forward Grant Williams, who grew up right here in the Queen City. The Providence Day School grad thinks the theme of “Hoopers Paradise” is the perfect tribute to a region that lives and breathes basketball.
The Hornets said the orange, blue and white color scheme was inspired by the Bird of Paradise flower, named in honor of Queen Charlotte.
