Charles Byrd, 49, was arrested in Texas following a 24-hour manhunt and issued a chilling five-word confession to police more than a month after he allegedly killed his wife.

He faces charges of murder, abuse of a corpse, terrorism related crimes and other offenses for the January 2024 killing of his father at the Levittown home where the three lived.
