Officials made some questionable calls (for both sides) at Lincoln Financial Field, but the Eagles had chances to win the game and failed. The Broncos capitalized on their chances in an upset win, and their social media team took to Twitter/X after the victory with a funny video that was not well-received by fans in Philly:
Not in a literal sense. Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown did not drop Jalen Hurts’ deep ball. However, Brown slowed down on his route after getting open in the middle of the field. This resulted in an incomplete pass on what would have been a 61-yard touchdown.
NFL fans have accused the league of rigging Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles after they lost to the Denver Broncos.
"I don’t know why they are going crazy," QB Bo Nix said of Broncos fans cheering for No. 63 (Alex Palczewski) reporting as an eligible receiver.
Landon Dickerson limped to the sideline in the first quarter, requiring Brett Toth to enter in relief at left guard. Trainers heavily taped up Dickerson’s left ankle, but he was ruled questionable to return and he remained on the bench. He was ruled out in the third quarter, and his status for Thursday's game is uncertain.
Cameras caught Denver Broncos HC Sean Payton talking to his team while the entire locker room was lit up with smoke.
The Denver Broncos are headed to London for their Week 6 game against the New York Jets. Spirits are high after the team defeated the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
As Broncos fans tailgated in the Empower Field at Mile High parking lot Monday night, they shared their thoughts about the possibility of a new stadium in a new location.
