After the game, players returned to the team hotel for dinner and then went to the airport for the club's overnight trip to England ahead of this week's international game against the New York Jets in London. Despite the short turnaround, Broncos coach Sean Payton did not let the upcoming travel distract players going into the Eagles game.

Broncos quarterback Bo Nix threw a critical 4th quarter touchdown, followed by a 2-point conversion to overtake the Eagles for the lead.

The Eagles lead the all-time series against the Broncos 9-5, including a 30-13 win in Denver in their most recent showdown in 2021. Their most recent matchup in Philadelphia was a 51-23 win for the Eagles in 2019. The defending Super Bowl champions have won 10 straight games going into Sunday's matchup against the Broncos.

The Denver Broncos are headed to London for their Week 6 game against the New York Jets. Spirits are high after the team defeated the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

The team made two roster moves ahead of Sunday's game. First, Denver placed tight end Lucas Krull on short-term injured reserve with a broken foot. Second, to fill Krull's former spot on the active roster, Denver promoted linebacker Garret Wallow from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

This was a break-through victory that showed Sean Payton’s blueprint for success can work and Denver can play with the NFL’s best.
