Dodgers notes: Shohei Ohtani out for ASG, unfortunate Tyler Glasnow news, Kyle Tucker warning
Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani is out for the All-Star Game, Tyler Glasnow has an unfortunate update and a teammate sent a warning on Kyle Tucker's behalf.
The Los Angeles Dodgers star recorded his 300th career home run with a solo shot in the first inning of the team's matchup with the Colorado Rockies. Ohtani accomplished the feat in 1,102 career games, becoming the fifth-fastest player in MLB history to hit 300 homers.
Friday's series-opening loss against the Arizona Diamondbacks was all about the errors. Fast forward to Saturday evening, and the lack of offense was the thorn poking at the Dodgers' side as the Diamondbacks took the final series of the first half with a 9-2 final.
The Rocket City Trash Pandas, the Angels' Double-A affiliate, saw something that caught their eye on the SportsNet LA broadcast of Shohei Ohtani's historic 300th home run.

The All-Star break seems to have come early for the Dodgers. Because, based on their performances the last few days, they look like they’re already on vacation. The latest example came in Saturday night’s 9-2 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks at Dodger Stadium.
