Police are responding to a mass shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Wednesday, with reports of two children killed and 17 people injured.

Authorities are working to learn the motive of the shooter who fired into a Minneapolis Catholic school's church during Wednesday's Mass, killing two children and injuring 17 worshippers.

A spokesperson for Hennepin Healthcare, which has Minnesota’s largest emergency department, said in a text message that it was actively dealing with an emergency and provided no additional details.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized COVID-19 vaccines for the fall — but only for high-risk groups.

The FDA has revoked the emergency authorization for COVID vaccines for children.
