The Paint 3D app modernizes the 30 years old Microsoft Paint. Now novices & beginners too can easily create 3D images on Windows 11/10.

Facebook introduced the ability to post 3D models a little while ago with no simple way to actually do it. Microsoft's Paint 3D, however, lets you post quickly and easily.

Now, if you want to convert a 3D model that is saved in an OBJ file to FBX format on your Windows 11/10 PC, you can simply use its native app called Paint 3D.

To take Copilot 3D for a spin, browse to the Copilot 3D website and sign in with your Microsoft account. To get some inspiration, you can view the existing 3D models generated by other people.

The Remix 3D community is filling up with detailed models created by other Windows users, and you can tap into it to help with your own projects in Paint 3D.

Paint 3D, which launched with the Windows 10 Creators Update, still suffers from the fact that it’s hard to create 3D models on a 2D screen.
