The Seattle Seahawks are getting healthy at a good time in the season with two big names coming off injured reserve. The team announced that safety Julian Love and defensive tackle Jarran Reed have both been activated from injured reserve.
Reed initially sustained fractures in his wrist and thumb during a 27-19 victory over the Houston Texans on Oct. 20. Because Seattle had its open date the next week, Reed had surgery and played in a 38-14 victory over the Washington Commanders on Nov. 2.
Mike Macdonald has only had a handful of snaps with all of his key defensive pieces in the lineup so far this season.
The Seahawks initially cut ties with Gaskin along with wideout Brendan Rice and center Doug Kramer. Seattle signed linebacker Ja’Markis Weston as part of the moves made on December 2, 2025. Here’s the latest on the Seahawks’ roster moves.
Julian Love and Jarran Reed are active, as expected, after being activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday’s game against the Falcons.
