The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Search and Rescue team says the valley’s growing population and a unique year of weather could be to blame for a busy year of rescues.

A public information officer for Las Vegas Fire and Rescue (LVFR) said a woman was transported to the hospital. Police told FOX5 her injuries are non-life-threatening.
