Michigan State football earned a commitment to the 2026 class Friday from tight end Joey Caudill from Mansfield, Ohio.

At 6-foot-4 and 285 pounds, Johnson is listed as the No. 21 player in Michigan and No. 87 interior offensive lineman in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports Composite. His other offers include Maryland, Purdue, Illinois and Boston College.

Caudill had a legacy-defining game, accounting for all seven of the Minutemen's touchdowns as he completed 14-of-19 passes for 191 yards and two touchdowns, while running for 189 yards and five TDs on just 16 carries to put up 380 yards of total offense by himself.
