Thousands of people have lost power as bitter cold and freezing temperatures hit Orlando and Central Florida. FOX 35 has been tracking reports of power outages and downed power lines, some due to strong winds and people using more electricity to heat their homes.

Another round of dangerously cold temps awaits

Officials have pushed back the LPGA's Sunday start times in Orlando until at least 1 p.m. ET.

Travelers looking for a natural escape near Orlando but far from the crowds should head to this scenic state park that is a lakeside retreat full of trails.

ORLANDO, Fla. – An Extreme Cold Warning, a Freeze Warning, and a Wind Advisory will be in effect Saturday into Sunday as an Arctic cold front moves through Central Florida. Ahead of the front, temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s through late morning and into the afternoon.

Dallas native and Olympian Sha'Carri Richardson has been arrested near Orlando, Florida, for allegedly driving over 100 mph on Thursday.
