South Carolina fires offensive llne coach Lonnie Teasley after a third loss in four games. Coach Shawn Elliott will serve as interim.

The South Carolina football team’s shortcomings on the offensive line have cost Lonnie Teasley his job. Gamecocks head coach Shane Beamer fired Teasley, the team’s offensive line coach, on Sunday. The move comes amid the line’s struggles during the Gamecocks’ 3-3 start to the season.

Somehow South Carolina walked into the locker room at halftime down only 10-7 after getting a 72-yard touchdown run from tailback Matthew Fuller. USC was only trailing a field goal after playing one of the ugliest, undisciplined, just downright silliest halves of football you’ll see.
