Three Texans claimed million-dollar prizes from lottery games, according to the Texas Lottery. A Longview resident claimed a $1 million prize won with a $1,000,000 Blitz scratch game ticket purchased at Super 1 Foods, at 1217 E. Marshall Ave. in Longview.
According to a Mega Millions news release, Friday's drawing will be the eighth largest jackpot since the game began in 2002. The winner is a resident from Adkins, which is about 14 miles from San Antonio and located in east Bexar County. The resident won the prize from a scratch ticket game 500X. It was purchased at Refuel 325, located at 11595 Sulphur Springs Road, in Adkins. The claimant elected to remain anonymous.
