If Republicans won’t hold town halls? Well, Minnesota’s Democratic Governor Tim Walz says he will. He’s off to a number of Midwest U.S. House Districts that are GOP-leaning to spread the message Democrats are there to support their families.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is hitting the road this weekend on the first leg of a national tour to hold town halls in Republican districts where representatives aren’t holding public meetings of their own.

Tim Walz is headed back out on the road – this time, for a tour of House districts represented by Republicans, some of whom have stopped holding town halls amid the raucous receptions their colleagues have gotten across the country.
