Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed a bill package to protect workers and support organized labor, reaffirming his support for working families and the Illinois Department of Labor.

Illinois governor JB Pritzker signed the Sonya Massey Bill (SB1953) into law. The move comes a little more than a year after a Sangamon County deputy shot and killed Massey in her home. The law is the first of its kind in the country.
