It was reported and confirmed that Washington Commanders assistant general manager Lance Newmark has interviewed with the New York Jets.

Could Lance Newmark be one-and-done with the Washington Commanders? Newmark joined Washington's front office last February — one month after Adam Peters was hired as general manager — as the Commanders' assistant GM.

On Saturday, the Jets interviewed three candidates for their vacant general manager position: Broncos assistant GM Darren Mougey, Commanders assistant GM Lance Newmark, and Bengals senior personnel director Trey Brown. More candidates are expected to be interviewed as well.
