Happy Gilmore 2 was released on Netflix on Friday with Adam Sandler reprising his role in a follow up to the hit 1996 comedy

AEW's Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) is not going anywhere, even after landing his first major movie role in Happy Gilmore 2.

The former AEW World Champion is one of the stars of Happy Gilmore 2, which will be available for streaming on Netflix this Friday, July 25. Max is portraying the son of the titular character, played once again by Adam Sandler, and the role required him to show off more of his physique than wrestling fans are used to seeing.

Sandler left no stone unturned, reaching out to all corners of the entertainment world for cameo appearances. While the most talked about are Post Malone, Bad Bunny, wrestlers MJF and Becky Lynch, and tight end Travis Kelce, there are more active professional golfers in the movie and some golf influencers.

As the very best in pro wrestling (and you know it, AEW star Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) will have suitors if he ever leaves, including WWE.

MJF and his brothers beat up rap legend Eminem in the new film Happy Gilmore 2, which is not streaming on Netflix.

While in different wrestling companies, Maxwell Jacob Friedman still has a lot of love for Becky Lynch. Later this week, fans can see both MJF and Lynch in Netflix’s Happy Gilmore 2, a sequel of the original 1996 sports comedy film.

MJF believes AEW has an “insane amount of momentum” right now with Tony Khan fully locked in on creative and making a change in his online behavior.

Adam Sandler’s upcoming sequel, Happy Gilmore 2, features AEW’s MJF in a major role, alongside WWE legends Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella.
