In exchange for accepting the new language the Bengals are adding to the contract, Cincinnati is giving Stewart an extra $550,000 upon signing in addition to the 50 percent he will receive when he puts pen to paper. Stewart will get the rest of his signing bonus in a second payment in December.

CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals have signed their first-round draft pick. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported Friday that the team agreed to a four-year, fully guaranteed contract for nearly $19 million with Shemar Stewart. “I can’t tell you how long I’ve been dreaming about this,” he said.
