President-elect Trump is suing Ann Selzer, her polling firm, The Des Moines Register and the newspaper’s parent company, Gannett, accusing them of consumer fraud over a 2024 Iowa poll that showed Vice President Kamala Harris was leading Trump in the state.

President-elect Donald Trump sued the Des Moines Register and its pollster for “brazen election interference” in publishing a survey the weekend before the election that showed Democrat Kamala Harris with a surprising lead of three percentage points in the state.

The pollster behind the now-infamous survey has said she's "mystified" by the allegations she sought to release a biased poll showing Kamala Harris ahead.

Trump's lawyers now have 30 days to seek the return of the lawsuit against the Register to Iowa court, where they initially filed it.
