Regis Le Bris has made a major decision on his future with Sunderland ahead of the club's return to Premier League action. On Monday (August 4), the 49-year-old pledged his commitment to The Black Cats as he penned a new deal until 2028.

Le Bris was appointed in late June 2024 and guided Sunderland back to the Premier League via the Championship play-offs last term.

Sunderland lost 0-1 to Real Betis in Granit Xhaka's debut with the Black Cats, but Regis Le Bris insisted he's pleased as they've added 'a bit more experience' to their squad.
