The head of Ukraine's southern Kherson region says that Russian attacks during the 30-hour Easter ceasefire unilaterally declared by President Vladimir Putin over the weekend killed three people in the region.

Ukrainians living overseas have little faith that the Russians will abide by a ceasefire agreement and say their country should continue to fight regardless of whether or not the US withdraws support.

Russia and Ukraine blamed each other for breaking an Easter ceasefire announced by Vladimir Putin, with both sides accusing the other of carrying out attacks.
