Megadeth have announced their final studio album and tour. After posting an Instagram message teasing that “the end is near,” the iconic thrash metal band shared a video with a ”breaking news” announcement for fans.

"For over four decades, I've been chained in silence, but the end demands my voice," Vic Rattlehead begins in his video announcement.

Over their 40 years, the band has released 16 studio albums — five of which are certified platinum in the U.S. — six live albums, 59 singles and many other projects.
