The Senators second line centre will miss at least the next three games with what the club describes as an upper-body injury.

Sent to the Bruins in the deal that brought Linus Ullmark to Ottawa, Korpisalo has shown a marked improvement in Boston. He has an 8-4-2 record with the Bruins, with an .892 save percentage and a 2.47 goals-against average.

The Ottawa Senators are going to be without one of their top scoring threats for the next few games. On Wednesday, head coach Travis Green revealed that forward Josh Norris will be out for the upcoming weekend’s slate of games due to an upper-body injury.

Veteran winger David Perron, who has only suited up for nine games this season, is expected to suit up for the first time since Nov. 23 when the Senators face the Boston Bruins on Thursday night at TD Garden. “It’s good to have him back,” coach Travis Green told TSN 1200’s Gord Wilson on Wednesday. “He’s been out for a while.”

The Ottawa Senators will be without forward Josh Norris for at least the next three games. Norris left Tuesday's game against the New York Rangers after the team pulled him for precautionary reasons.

Forward Adam Lowry is week-to-week with an upper-body injury, head coach Scott Arneil told reporters Wednesday. Lowry left Monday's loss to the Utah Hockey Club. He only played 5:18 before departing. The 31-year-old has 11 goals and 26 points in 48 games so far this season.

Kirill Kaprizov and Jared Spurgeon could each return to the lineup for the Wild against the Utah Hockey Club on Thursday (8 p.m. ET; HULU, ESPN+). Each took part in line rushes at practice on Wednesday, and coach John Hynes said he is "cautiously optimistic" that they would play.

Longtime veteran winger David Perron is expected to return for the first time since before American Thanksgiving.
