With weeks to go before the NBA trade deadline, the Los Angeles Lakers are one of the few teams with a trade already in the books. But according to The Athletic's Jovan Buha, the Lakers are likely still not done making moves as they look to improve the roster for the 2024-25 season.

The Los Angeles Lakers made their first big move of the season when they traded away D'Angelo Russell and Maxwell Lewis for Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Milton. Three second-round picks were also sent to Brooklyn in the deal from the Lakers.

D'Angelo Russell has been one of the more streaky players in the entire NBA since beginning his career nine years ago, a trend which continued over into his second stint with the Lakers beginning at the 2023 trade deadline.
