The brother of the late New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has pleaded guilty to threatening to carry out a shooting at the University of Connecticut and to kill three people outside of the state last year.

Dennis Hernandez pleaded guilty in federal court to making threats against UConn and three out-of-state individuals.

Officials say D.J. Hernandez, a Bristol man and brother to former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, plead guilty to making interstate threats Tuesday.
