With the NHL trade deadline six weeks away, it would appear the Pittsburgh Penguins and Seattle Kraken are in a similar circumstance. They can either get it going soon, or both could be sellers come March 7.

The game at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle begins at 1 p.m. PT. It will be broadcast on KONG. KONG is available for streaming through DirecTV Stream and Fubo, as well as via antenna, cable, and satellite. The game will also be broadcast on the Kraken Hockey Network. The Kraken’s Oliver Bjorkstrand, who has been a consistent threat against the Penguins with eight points (5g/3a) in 21 career games, finally broke the deadlock, scoring the first goal of the game. But Pittsburgh’s captain, Sidney Crosby, responded with a goal of his own, tying things up at 1-1 and keeping the Penguins in the hunt.

Connor McDavid will be eligible to return from his three-game suspension when the Edmonton Oilers play host to the Seattle Kraken on Monday night.

SEATTLE -- Joey Daccord made 28 saves for the Seattle Kraken, who cruised past the Pittsburgh Penguins for a 4-1 win at Climate Pledge Arena on Saturday. Chandler Stephenson and Jared McCann each had two assists for the Kraken (22-25-3), who have won three of their past four.

The worst part about this game is that the Penguins did not play all that poorly. They didn't really give Seattle too many good looks all that consistently. But if they're going to win hockey games, they absolutely cannot hand opposing teams easy goals. It's that simple.
