Trey Lance said he hasn’t started thinking about free agency at this point. After logging his first Cowboys start Sunday, the quarterback just wanted to enjoy the moment in front of him. He went 20-of-34 through the air for 244 yards in his first NFL start since 2022.

Lance played on two FCS championship teams at North Dakota State and was named the 2020 FCS Championship Game MVP, but he started only 17 games in his three years with the Bison.
