Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert has played well since returning from a knee injury. He now will face his former teammate when the Washington Commanders come to Lincoln Financial Field for Sunday's NFC Championship Game.

Eagles tackle Jordan Mailata unleashed a fiery defense of Jalen Hurts amid criticism of his evolving role in Philadelphia's offense as the team prepares for the NFC Championship Game.

After being targeted by Joe Whitt Jr. during the week, Jordan Mailata and Nick Sirianni came to the defense of "running back" Jalen Hurts.

Tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) and center Cam Jurgens (back) did not participate. Goedert was at practice at the Linc but did not have a helmet and was not participating. He did catch some passes on the side of the field while his teammates warmed up. And Jurgens wasn’t seen at practice at all during the portion open to reporters.

Coach Nick Sirianni said Thursday that center Cam Jurgens (back) and tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) would be practicing, but when practice rolled around at the Linc, both players sat out.

Goedert and South Dakota State finished a combined 37-16 during his four played seasons of his collegiate career. He advanced to the FCS semifinals in his final collegiate season, the quarterfinals in his redshirt junior season, the first round as a redshirt sophomore and the second round as a redshirt freshman.
