An Arkansas lawmaker hopes to put a stop to a prison that's planned to be built in Franklin County, asking the state to consider crime prevention over a new facility

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced new legislation that would ban smartphones and other personal electronic devices from public schools.

The new legislation, the Bell to Bell, No Cell Act, aims to prohibit personal electronic devices, including cell phones and smartwatches, in all public schools.
