President Donald Trump said Friday he still backs U.S. Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar of Miami for re-election even though she launched a campaign ad criticizing his immigration agenda, but also claimed she is only in office because of his support.

BOSTON, Sept 14 (Reuters) - A federal judge on Monday blocked ⁠U.S. ⁠President Donald Trump's administration from implementing a ⁠new rule that would limit how long foreign students and journalists can remain in ​the U.S. without applying for extensions.

The NAACP and other civil rights organizations sued the Trump administration to prevent it from stationing federal agents at polling stations.
